GTA 6 talking heads: 10 topics, 4 scripts
Film these four, in this order
- The Teenager Who Hacked GTA 6 From a Hotel Room
Film Mon Oct 26 · out Wed Oct 28 · #6 on the list - 15 Things GTA 5 Lets You Do That GTA 6 Won't
Film Tue Oct 27 · out about Sat Oct 31 · #1 on the list - How Money Works in GTA 6 (vs Real Miami)
Film Mon Nov 2 · out about Thu Nov 5 · #3 on the list - GTA 6 Will Break the World. I Checked the Math.
Film Sun Nov 8 · out Nov 15 to 17 (launch week) · #4 on the list
Why this order. The hack story needs no gameplay or capture gear, so nothing can go wrong on the first shoot. The GTA 5 list needs your own GTA 5 clips, so it goes second, after the capture kit is set up (if it isn't working by Oct 27, film the money video that day instead). The money video works any time before launch. The real-world video answers the question everyone asks in launch week, so it goes out last.
What to expect. Small channels can break out right now, but most don't: of 702 GTA 6 long-forms posted since Aug 1 by channels under 25k subs, the typical one got about 7k views, 54% stayed under 10k, and 102 passed 100k (about 1 in 7). Many of those 100k+ videos are music uploads, trailer re-uploads, reactions or fake gameplay, which you won't make. Each topic below lists the talking-head breakouts that match it, and all four picks have at least one.
Why these four. #1, #3 and #4 are the strongest topics you can script word for word today. The hack story (#6) is in because it needs nothing but you and a camera, which makes it the safest shoot for tomorrow, and it has a fresh hook. #2 (the day-1 checklist) is best written right before launch, when the last details are out, and #5 (how we imagined GTA 6) runs on your own memories, so neither is scripted yet.
How this fits today's GTA niche plan. That plan opens with the GTA 5 vs GTA 6 list on Oct 28; here it's the second shoot, because the hack story is safer for the very first shoot. Its Nov 1 pick, fact-checking the trailers against real Miami, needs real Miami footage, so it isn't on this easy list. Its Nov 5 and Nov 10 picks ("how we imagined GTA 6", #5 here, and "everything confirmed", #7 here) are swapped for the money video, which has a better small-channel record than "everything confirmed", and the real-world video, a bet on your angle in launch week ("how we imagined" is the safer swap if you'd rather). Its optional launch-week essay on the money behind GTA 6 is close to the spare script below.
Your call: want to follow that plan instead, or swap any of the four for another top-10 topic? Say which and it gets a script.
The top 10
Ranked by proof that this exact video works for a small channel (how many breakouts by channels under 50k subs, how big, how recent), then adjusted for risk, ease and fit for this month's shoots. Where an adjustment moved a topic, it says so. The grey line under a topic is the wider topic's record for small channels since 2025. Tap a video to watch it.
115 Things GTA 5 Lets You Do That GTA 6 Won't
A countdown of things you could do in GTA 5 that GTA 6 drops or changes, each shown in a quick GTA 5 clip.
The biggest recent proof: this exact format has 3 small-channel uploads this month and all 3 passed 190k (881k on 20k subs, 895k on 16k, 206k on 781). Risk: generic "GTA 6 vs GTA 5" comparisons flop for small channels (see the line below), so stick to the exact format. It's also the first pick in today's GTA niche plan.
The only version that labels every item confirmed or rumor. Medium: needs a copy of GTA 5 and about 15 clips from the capture kit.

2Do This Before (and on Day 1 of) GTA 6
Preload date and download math, storage, the editions, and what to do in the first hour.
Five small-channel breakouts this month: 285k on 16k subs (Oct 22), 247k on 20k, 157k on 20k, 148k on 1.7k, 120k on 3.5k. The most consistent proof (five breakouts, all between 120k and 285k), but a low ceiling, so it sits below #1. Not scripted yet: the useful details (file size, unlock time) may only come out right before launch, so write it around Nov 8 and film it with shoot 4.
Practical, with the science-teacher voice (download math, storage). Easy.

3How Money Works in GTA 6 (vs Real Miami)
The new three-kinds-of-money system Rockstar showed the press, then Jason and Lucia's life priced in real Miami at Florida minimum wage.
Two small-channel breakouts this month (415k on 4.6k subs, 192k on 877) and a big ceiling (TGG's version did 3.56M). Nobody has priced it against real life.
Money ladder plus real prices: the Hafu Go $1 vs $X instinct. Easy: talking head, official footage, price cards.

4GTA 6 Will Break the World. I Checked the Math.
Six viral claims about what GTA 6 does to the real world (sick days, Miami, consoles, the biggest launch ever), each checked with real numbers.
Two small channels have made a version of this exact video: 1.86M on 8.5k subs (Oct 12) and 88k on 310 (Sept 23, about the sick-day claim). Too few for a base rate, so it's a bet, but it holds the biggest single win on this list. Fit moved it up: it's the launch-week question, and it runs on your mythbuster angle. The 1.86M video lists the claims without checking them; checking is your lane.
Mythbuster with the math on screen: pure Hafu Go. Easy: talking head, headlines, number cards.
5How We Imagined GTA 6 for 13 Years vs What We Got
The fan theories, fake leaks and wish lists from 2013 to 2023, against what Rockstar actually showed.
Two small-channel breakouts this year: 686k on 20k subs (English, Oct 11) and 805k on 10k (Portuguese). On proof it's level with #3 and #4. It sits lower because one breakout is in Portuguese and it can't be scripted word for word: it runs on your own memories. Today's niche plan's Nov 5 pick, and the safer swap for shoot 4.
Nostalgia for the 20-35s who grew up on GTA 5; needs your own memories. Easy.
6The Teenager Who Hacked GTA 6 From a Hotel Room
The 2022 hack story (bail, a hotel, a Fire Stick, the trial), what it really cost Rockstar, his reported November trial, and the 2026 leak war.
One small-channel breakout with this exact story (832k on 8.1k subs, April 2025) plus 808k on a bigger channel. On proof alone it would sit lower. It moved up because it's the easiest video here (no gameplay, no capture), which makes it the safe first shoot, and it has a fresh hook nobody has used: he's reportedly due in court in November, the month GTA 6 launches. Leak videos in general are crowded (line below), so it has to be the story, not leak news.
True story plus a myth check ($5 million in court, not "billions"). Easiest of all: no gameplay or capture needed.
Zack D. Films told the same story in 39 seconds for 11.6M views (a Short, so not counted as a long-form comp).
7GTA 6 in 20 Minutes: Everything Confirmed Before You Play
One catch-up video: the map, the characters, money, police, what's confirmed and what isn't.
Two small-channel breakouts (725k on 12k subs, 410k on 4.6k), but it's a commodity: at least five copies posted this month got under 1,000 views, which moves it down. Today's niche plan's Nov 10 pick.
The only version that marks every claim confirmed or rumor. Easy to film, long to research.

8GTA 6 Police vs Real Police
How GTA 6's new police work (from Rockstar and the preview) next to how real police chase and catch people.
One small-channel breakout (1.18M on 14k subs, Feb 2026) and a big ceiling (TGG's version did 2.89M), but half of the few small-channel police videos stayed under 10k and it needs a real-police fact sheet, which moves it down. It stays above #9 on ceiling (TGG's 2.89M) despite fewer breakouts.
Real-world comparison: the science of a chase. Medium: needs a real-police fact sheet.

9Every GTA 6 Car and the Real Car It Copies
The cars in the trailers and the real cars they're based on, with real prices.
Two small-channel breakouts: 332k on 2.2k subs (Oct 5) and 445k on 31k (2025). Risk: half of the small-channel car videos stayed under 10k.
Real cars, real prices. Easy: trailer stills plus real car photos.

10The Science Behind GTA 6's Graphics
How the game fakes water, light, crowds and faces, explained like a science video.
One recent small-channel breakout (149k on 8.5k subs, Oct 22), an older one (751k on 49k, 2025) and a big ceiling (Corridor Crew's breakdown did 3.80M). Last because it needs real technical research to sound right.
Your main channel's science voice. Medium-hard.
Close, but not top 10
Honest concerns: why GTA 6 might disappoint
Strong small-channel numbers (7 videos, median 186k, none under 10k), but the winners lean on culture-war titles ("feminist slop", "made for stupid people"). Benched for the brand, not the data. Worth it only with a real take of your own.
Why GTA 6 took 13 years (spare script is written)
Huge views for big channels, but small channels mostly flop: 10 small-channel videos, median 1.6k views.
Is GTA 6 worth $80?
Crowded and weak for small channels: 32 videos, median 8k, 56% under 10k.
GTA 6 story theories
Lots of supply, weak for small channels (81 videos, median 11k).
Every GTA before 6 (catch-up)
One 11k-sub channel got 1.48M (2023), but the small-channel median is 7.3k.
The 4 scripts, in shoot order
Each one is word for word, 1,220 to 1,315 spoken words: about 7.5 to 9 minutes depending on your pace and how tight the cuts are. B-roll notes sit under each line. Every number is in the sources under each script.

The Teenager Who Hacked GTA 6 From a Hotel Room
Title options: The Teenager Who Hacked GTA 6 From a Hotel Room / He Leaked GTA 6 With a Fire Stick / The Kid Who Leaked GTA 6 Thumbnail: your face, serious, holding an Amazon Fire Stick up to camera; a hotel TV glowing behind you. Length: word for word, 1,315 spoken words: about 8 to 9.5 minutes depending on your pace and how tight the cuts are. Structure: a true story told as an Escalation Ladder (each part crazier than the last). Climax: it's happening again right now. Release slot: gaming #1 (film Mon Oct 26, out Wed Oct 28). No gameplay needed, so nothing depends on the capture kit. Tone: calm and factual. He was found unfit to stand trial: never joke about that. No hacking how-to: say WHAT he used, never HOW. B-roll rules: NEVER show leaked footage (Take-Two files takedowns). Use news headlines, a blurred screenshot of the forum post, the courthouse exterior, Rockstar's official trailers (audio muted), and a real Fire Stick on your desk. Comps: GameZone "How a Kid Hacked GTA 6" (832k views on an 8.1k-sub channel); tatsache "How a 17-year-old leaked GTA 6" (808k). tatsache's version says the leak caused "billions in damages" and never checks it. You check it.
Cold open
HOOK: In September 2022, 90 secret videos of GTA 6 showed up on a fan forum. Rockstar had spent nine years showing nobody anything. Not a screenshot. Not a logo. * B-roll: blurred forum thread, headline cards stacking up
HOOK: The person a jury later found responsible was a teenager. And when he did it, the police already knew who he was. He was out on bail, staying in a hotel where the police had put him, and they'd taken his laptop. * B-roll: hotel exterior, a laptop with an "X" over it
HOOK: So he used the hotel TV, a phone, and one of these. * B-roll: you hold up the Fire Stick. Hold the shot for a beat.
HOOK: This is how that night happened, what it actually cost Rockstar, because the number you've heard online is way off, why his story isn't over, and why the same thing is happening again right now, a few weeks before launch. * B-roll: quick flashes: courthouse, a "$5,000,000" card, a 2026 headline
1. The night it leaked
SAY: September 18th, 2022. Someone with the username "teapotuberhacker" makes a post on GTAForums, one of the oldest GTA fan sites on the internet. Attached: about 90 clips. Around 50 minutes of GTA 6.
SAY: Think about what that means. Rockstar hadn't shown a single frame of this game. The only official thing they'd ever said was one paragraph, earlier that year, confirming it existed. And now there's 50 minutes of it on a fan forum. For free.
SAY: The poster said it came from inside Rockstar, from Slack, the chat app their employees use. And then he did something that tells you what this was really about: he asked people to make offers for the source code of GTA 5. Over ten thousand dollars. * B-roll: Slack logo card, a "$10,000+" card
SAY: The next day, Rockstar confirmed it. Someone had gotten in and downloaded confidential information, including early footage of the next GTA. They said they were "extremely disappointed." And they said it wouldn't have a long-term effect on development. Then Take-Two, the company that owns Rockstar, started sending YouTube takedowns to get the clips pulled. * B-roll: Rockstar's statement as a card
BRIDGE: Everyone assumed this was some mastermind. An angry insider, maybe a professional hacking crew. It wasn't.
2. Who he was
SAY: His name is Arion Kurtaj. He's from Oxford, in England. He was a teenager. Reports put him at 17 and 18 during the hacks, and 18 when he was sentenced.
SAY: And this wasn't his first big one. He was part of a hacking group called Lapsus$. That group went after Nvidia, the company that makes graphics cards, and Uber. * B-roll: Nvidia and Uber headline cards
SAY: I'm not going to call him a genius, and I'm not going to make fun of him. You'll see why in a minute. What matters is one detail about where he was when he hacked Rockstar.
BRIDGE: Because by then, the police had already caught him once.
3. The hotel room
SAY: Before the Rockstar hack, he'd already been arrested over earlier hacks. He was out on bail. The police had put him in a Travelodge, a cheap hotel chain in the UK, under police protection. And they'd taken his laptop.
SAY: So on paper, this is a kid with no computer, sitting in a hotel room the police picked for him.
SAY: And according to what came out in court, he hacked Rockstar anyway. With the hotel TV. A phone. And an Amazon Fire Stick. * B-roll: you holding the Fire Stick next to a TV, slow push-in
SAY: This is the thing you plug into a TV to watch Netflix. It costs less than GTA 6 does. And he used one, on a hotel TV, against one of the most secretive companies in gaming.
SAY: I'm not going to explain how he did it. That's not what this channel is, and honestly, the how isn't the interesting part. The interesting part is what the jury found: a company with thousands of employees and one of the most valuable secrets in entertainment got beaten by a teenager in a Travelodge.
BRIDGE: You'd think that ends with a long prison sentence. It doesn't. And the reason why is the strangest part of the whole story.
4. The trial
SAY: The trial took about two months, at Southwark Crown Court in London.
SAY: But before it started, doctors assessed him and found he was unfit to stand trial. That's a legal term. It means the court decided he couldn't take part in his own trial the normal way.
SAY: So the jury wasn't asked the usual question, "is he guilty?" They were asked something narrower: did he do these things, yes or no.
SAY: They said yes. Unanimously. Twelve offences, including blackmail, fraud, and what UK law calls unauthorised computer impairment. * B-roll: courthouse exterior, "12 OFFENCES" card
SAY: In December 2023, the judge gave him an indefinite hospital order. Not prison. A secure hospital. And "indefinite" means exactly what it sounds like: there's no end date. He stays until doctors and the court decide he's not a risk anymore.
SAY: The court heard he intended to go back to cyber-crime as soon as he could. That's a big part of why it was indefinite. There was also a second defendant, a 17-year-old, who got a youth rehabilitation order.
SAY: And here's the part almost nobody covering this knows. In July this year, the BBC's cyber correspondent reported that he'd been moved out of the hospital, into a normal prison. And he's reportedly due to face trial in November. The same month GTA 6 comes out. So this story isn't over. * B-roll: "JULY 2026: MOVED TO PRISON" and "TRIAL: NOVEMBER" cards
BRIDGE: Now, the money. If you've watched other videos about this, you've probably heard this leak cost Rockstar billions. Here's the number Rockstar actually gave the court.
5. What it really cost
SAY: Five million dollars. Plus thousands of hours of staff time. * B-roll: "$5,000,000" card next to a crossed-out "BILLIONS"
SAY: That's what Rockstar told the court the hack cost them. Five million is a lot of money. It's also nowhere near "billions."
SAY: I couldn't find a real source for "billions." My guess is people mixed it up with the stock price, and stock prices move every day for a hundred reasons. The number in the court case is five million. And remember what Rockstar said the day after: no long-term effect on development.
SAY: And then the strangest twist. A year later, in December 2023, Rockstar was about to release the first official trailer, and that leaked too. So Rockstar just posted it early, themselves, on YouTube.
SAY: It got 90 million views in 24 hours. A world record for a game reveal. * B-roll: Trailer 1 opening shot (muted), record card
SAY: The game leaked. The trailer leaked. And it still broke the record. The leaks didn't kill the hype. If anything, they made more people pay attention.
BRIDGE: That was 2022 and 2023. This summer, it started again. And this time, Take-Two went to court.
6. It's happening again
SAY: In 2026, an account calling itself "cyberleek" started posting stolen GTA 6 footage.
SAY: In August, Rockstar did something they almost never do: they confirmed the clips were real. They called it "heartbreaking for our team." They said the game was nearly finished and the November 19th date wasn't changing. * B-roll: Rockstar statement card
SAY: Around the same time, Take-Two filed subpoenas in New York. A subpoena is a legal demand for records. They asked Microsoft and Discord for information to figure out who this person is. * B-roll: Microsoft and Discord logos, subpoena headline cards
SAY: The leaker reportedly promoted crypto, let followers vote on what to leak next, and called the whole thing a protest against GTA 6 being digital only. That's what's been reported, so take it with a grain of salt.
SAY: On October 8th, about 25 more minutes were reportedly posted. Rockstar hasn't confirmed that one. And as of mid-October, there's no confirmed arrest and no confirmed name. Whoever this is, they haven't been publicly caught.
BRIDGE: Which brings me to the one part of this video that might actually save you some trouble.
7. The warning
SAY: There is no full leaked game. Every "GTA 6 full game download" link you see right now is a scam or malware. Every single one. Best case, you waste your time. Worst case, someone gets into your account. Which, after this whole video, should feel a little ironic. * B-roll: fake download page mockup with a big red X
Ending
SAY: Rockstar spent nine years keeping a secret. It got out in 2022. It got out again in 2023. It's getting out again right now. And every single time, more people showed up for the real thing.
END: On November 19th, the real thing is finally here, and I'll be playing it on this channel from day one. If you want to see it, subscribe. * B-roll: launch trailer final shot (muted), subscribe card

15 Things GTA 5 Lets You Do That GTA 6 Won't
Title options: 15 Things GTA 5 Lets You Do That GTA 6 Won't / 15 Things You Can't Do in GTA 6 Anymore / GTA 6 Is Taking Away 15 Things From GTA 5 Thumbnail: split frame: GTA 5 hotwiring a car on the left with a green check, a locked GTA 6 car on the right with a red X, your face in the middle. Length: word for word, 1,245 spoken words: about 7.5 to 9 minutes depending on your pace and how tight the cuts are. Structure: Escalation Ladder, a countdown from 15 to 1 (small to game-changing). Climax: the police. Release slot: gaming #2 (film Tue Oct 27, out about Sat Oct 31). Effort, honestly: this one needs a copy of GTA 5 and about 15 specific clips you capture yourself (PS5 + capture card, the kit from today's plan). Rockstar's official GTA 5 trailers can't show the weapon wheel, lock-on, the character switch wheel or the radar. If the capture kit isn't working by Oct 27, film script D that day instead and move this one to Nov 2. Why this format: this exact list format has 3 small-channel uploads this month and all 3 passed 190k views (881k on 20k subs, 895k on 16k, 206k on 781). Generic "GTA 6 vs GTA 5" comparisons do much worse (about half stay under 10k). Your edge: you say where every item comes from, and you end with three things people claim that nobody confirmed. B-roll: each item = a 3 to 5 second GTA 5 clip you capture, then the GTA 6 equivalent from the Extended Look or trailers (audio muted). No leaked footage. Where the facts come from: "confirmed" = Rockstar or Take-Two said it. "From the preview" = what Rockstar showed press at a hands-off preview this summer (they watched, they didn't play). Keep those words in.
Cold open
HOOK: In GTA 5, you could walk up to almost any parked car, press one button, and drive away. In GTA 6, some cars won't start unless you have the right tools. * B-roll: GTA 5 hotwire clip, hard cut to a GTA 6 car from the Extended Look
HOOK: That's one of 15 things GTA 5 lets you do that GTA 6 is taking away. Some are small. Some change how the whole game plays. And number one is the reason a lot of your GTA 5 habits are going to get you caught. * B-roll: quick flashes of items 14, 8, 5, 1
HOOK: Almost everything here comes from Rockstar, or from what Rockstar showed the press this summer, and I'll tell you which is which. At the end, three things you'll hear everywhere that nobody has actually confirmed. Let's start small. * B-roll: "15" card
15. Tap a button to sprint
SAY: In GTA 5, to sprint, you mash a button. Tap, tap, tap, tap. In GTA 6, from the preview, you click the left stick instead, like most modern games. Your thumb is going to be very confused for about a week. * B-roll: GTA 5 sprint (your capture), GTA 6 running shot
14. Put a disc in
SAY: This one's confirmed. In GTA 5, you could buy a disc, put it in, play. At launch, even the physical version of GTA 6 in the store has no disc. You open the box and there's a download code inside. So you're paying for a very nice box with a piece of paper in it. * B-roll: GTA 5 disc, GTA 6 cover art
13. Pay 60 dollars
SAY: GTA 5 cost $59.99. GTA 6 is $79.99, and the Ultimate edition is $99.99. Also confirmed. Twenty dollars more, thirteen years later. * B-roll: price cards
12. Play it on a PS4, an Xbox One or a PC
SAY: GTA 5 runs on basically everything. PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC. GTA 6 is PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. That's it. No PC version has been announced. So if you're still on a PS4, this is the one that hurts. * B-roll: console lineup, PS4 / Xbox One / PC greyed out
BRIDGE: Those were the boring ones. From here on, it's about how the game actually plays.
11. Drive forever on one tank
SAY: In GTA 5, your car never runs out of gas. You can drive forever. In GTA 6, it's been reported that cars and bikes can run out of fuel. Even in the middle of a chase. This one isn't from Rockstar directly, it's been reported secondhand, so we'll see. But picture running from the cops, and your car just... stops. * B-roll: GTA 5 long highway drive, a GTA 6 gas station shot
10. Keep the same body forever
SAY: In GTA 5, Franklin looks exactly the same after 100 hours. In GTA 6, from the preview, you can gain or lose fat and muscle depending on what you eat and whether you work out. And eating gives you health. If you played San Andreas back in 2004, you remember this. It's back. * B-roll: GTA 6 gym and food shots
9. Drive like a cartoon
SAY: GTA 5 cars feel light. You can take a corner way too fast and basically bounce off it. Rockstar describes GTA 6's driving as somewhere between GTA 4, where cars felt heavy, and GTA 5, where they felt easy. And if you shoot out a tire, the car can actually flip. You can see it in the gameplay video. * B-roll: GTA 5 drift (your capture), Extended Look car flip
8. Carry every gun in the game in your pocket
SAY: In GTA 5, you could pull a rocket launcher out of your jeans. Along with pretty much every other gun in the game. In GTA 6, from the preview: two handguns hidden on you, and two big guns. Only one of the big guns fits on your back. The other one, you have to hold. In your hands. Walking down the street. And people notice. The police warn you. * B-roll: GTA 5 weapon wheel (your capture), GTA 6 character with a rifle on the back
7. Let the game aim for you
SAY: GTA 5 locks on to people for you and shows enemies as red dots on your map. From the preview, GTA 6 leans a lot more toward free aim, and enemies don't show up on your radar. So you actually have to look for people. And hit them yourself. * B-roll: GTA 5 lock-on and radar (your capture), GTA 6 aiming shot
BRIDGE: Now the big ones.
6. Jump straight into GTA Online
SAY: GTA Online came out two weeks after GTA 5, on October 1st, 2013. For GTA 6, Rockstar's own pre-order page calls it "a single-player experience launching on November 19th." And Take-Two's CEO said, word for word: "There's no recurrent consumer spending anticipated with regard to this launch." In plain words: nothing to keep buying inside the game on day one. * B-roll: GTA Online logo, the two quotes as cards
SAY: So single-player at launch: confirmed. Single-player forever: nobody has said that. Which means at launch, it's just you and Vice City. No lobbies. No griefers.
5. Switch characters whenever you want
SAY: In GTA 5, you could flip between Michael, Franklin and Trevor whenever you wanted. In the middle of nowhere, for no reason. GTA 6 has two main characters, Jason and Lucia. And Rockstar says switching follows the story. Some missions lock you into one character. Some make you switch. Some let you choose. * B-roll: GTA 5 switch wheel (your capture), Jason and Lucia key art
4. Treat a stolen car like a free ride
SAY: This one changes how you'll play every single day. In GTA 5, a stolen car was a way to get somewhere. In GTA 6, from the preview, a stolen car is loot. You can scan a parked car to see what it's worth and how hard it is to steal. Then you sell it to a fence, which is a black market dealer. And here's the catch: the more you've smashed it up, the less they pay you. So now the way you drive costs you money. In GTA 5, you'd crash a supercar into a wall just to see what happens. In GTA 6, that's literally throwing money away. * B-roll: Extended Look car shots, a "$" overlay dropping as dents appear
3. Hotwire any parked car
SAY: This is the one from the start. In GTA 5, almost any parked car: one button, done. In GTA 6, from the preview, some parked cars stay locked until you have the right tools, things like a key cloner. You can still pull someone out of their car. You just can't steal every car on the street with one button anymore. * B-roll: GTA 5 hotwire (your capture), locked GTA 6 car
2. Point a gun at anyone and watch them run
SAY: In GTA 5, you point a gun at someone and they run. Almost everyone. Every time. In GTA 6, from the preview, point a gun at the wrong person, and they might pull one back on you. That turns every street in the game from a playground into a gamble. * B-roll: GTA 5 crowd scattering (your capture), GTA 6 street scene
1. Make the cops forget you
SAY: Number one. The oldest trick in GTA 5: get out of sight, hide, wait for the stars to flash and fade, and the cops forget you ever existed. Completely.
SAY: In GTA 6, from the preview, the police remember a lot more. There's a heat system. Cameras matter. Whether you wore a mask matters. What you were wearing matters. Who you were seen with matters. And there are six wanted stars now, not five. * B-roll: GTA 5 stars fading (your capture), GTA 6 police shots, a six-star graphic
SAY: Think about what that means. In GTA 5, the plan after a crime was always the same: drive, hide, wait. In GTA 6, the plan starts before the crime. Wear a mask. Avoid the cameras. Change your clothes. Split up.
SAY: In GTA 5, the cops forget you the second you're out of sight. In GTA 6, they act a lot more like real detectives. Which means every GTA 5 habit you have is about to get you caught.
Three things nobody has confirmed
SAY: And now, three things you're going to hear in other videos that nobody has actually confirmed.
SAY: One: "You can't buy houses or businesses in GTA 6." Rockstar hasn't said that, either way. One person at the preview said it about houses. That's it.
SAY: Two: "There are no cheat codes." Rockstar hasn't said anything about cheats. And most of the "GTA 6 cheat code" lists online are old GTA 5 codes or completely made up.
SAY: Three: "First-person mode is gone." The reports conflict. Some say it isn't in yet, some say it is. Honestly, nobody knows. * B-roll: three claims with "NOT CONFIRMED" stamps
Ending
SAY: So GTA 6 is taking away a lot of the easy stuff. Hotwiring, auto-aim, a pocket full of guns, cops with no memory. Which means everything that still works is going to feel earned.
END: On November 19th, I'm testing every one of these myself, live, on this channel. Subscribe, and you'll see which ones are true. * B-roll: launch trailer final shot (muted), subscribe card

How Money Works in GTA 6 (vs Real Miami)
Title options: How Money Works in GTA 6 (vs Real Miami) / GTA 6 Money vs Real Life Money / I Priced GTA 6's Lifestyle in Real Miami Thumbnail: your face, jaw dropped; a stack of cash on one side, a real Lamborghini with a price tag reading "20 YEARS" on the other. Length: word for word, 1,250 spoken words: about 7.5 to 9 minutes depending on your pace and how tight the cuts are. Structure: Escalation Ladder, broke to rich. Climax: one GTA 5 heist measured in years of real minimum wage. Release slot: gaming #3 (film Mon Nov 2, out about Thu Nov 5). Comps: TGG "Robberies, Economy & How Money Works Now" (3.56M); HiPE "GTA 6's Economy Will Be NOTHING Like GTA 5" (415k on a 4.6k-sub channel, Oct 15). Nobody prices it against real life. That's the angle, and it's the Hafu Go money-ladder instinct. Honesty rule: Rockstar has NOT shown in-game prices or payouts. Mechanics come from what Rockstar showed the press at a hands-off preview this summer: say "from the preview". Real Miami numbers are real. B-roll: official trailers and the Extended Look (audio muted), real Miami listing photos, price cards, a calculator, a years counter.
Cold open
HOOK: In GTA 5, players found a stock market trick that, according to fan guides, could get you to about two billion dollars. And then there was nothing left to spend it on. * B-roll: GTA 5 stock market screen (your capture or official), "$2,000,000,000" card labeled "fan guides"
HOOK: GTA 6 is changing that. Your money comes in three different kinds. You can lose some of it. And some of the story won't move until you've earned it. * B-roll: Extended Look robbery shots, muted
HOOK: So first, I'll explain exactly how money works in GTA 6, from what Rockstar has shown so far. Then I'm going to price Jason and Lucia's life in real Miami, at real Florida minimum wage. The Lamborghini takes about 20 years. One GTA 5 heist takes over 1,300. * B-roll: price tags flipping: "$2,700 a month", "$600,000+", "1,300+ YEARS"
HOOK: But first, why GTA 5's money was broken.
1. GTA 5's money problem
SAY: By the end of GTA 5's story, you were rich. The last big heist, the Big Score, could pay each character around 41 million dollars.
SAY: And then there was the stock market. In GTA 5, Lester gives you a set of assassination missions, and each one moves a company's stock. Invest before, sell after, and fan guides say you could end up with around two billion dollars. * B-roll: GTA 5 heist and stock market footage, a money counter spinning up
SAY: Two billion dollars. And then what? You buy every car. Every plane. And then you just drive around. Rich. With nothing to do with it.
SAY: When money stops mattering, missions stop mattering. Why rob a store for a few thousand when you have two billion in the bank? And from what Rockstar has shown, GTA 6 is built to fix exactly that. My read: when money is hard to keep, every dollar turns into a decision. That's the whole point.
BRIDGE: Because in GTA 6, money isn't one number anymore. It's three.
2. The three kinds of money
SAY: From what Rockstar showed the press, there are three kinds of money in GTA 6.
SAY: One: money in the bank. That's safe.
SAY: Two: cash in your pocket. That's not safe. If you die or get busted, you lose it.
SAY: Three: loot. Jewelry, stolen stuff, a stolen car. And loot isn't money at all. Not until you sell it. * B-roll: three icons: bank, wallet, bag
SAY: You sell it to a fence, which is a black market dealer. They buy your stolen stuff at a discount, obviously, because they know you can't exactly take it back to the store.
SAY: So picture this. You rob a jewelry store. You walk out with a bag of rings and a pocket full of cash. Right now, you have zero dollars in the bank. The rings are worth nothing until a fence buys them. And the cash is only yours if you make it home. Get busted on the way, and it's gone.
SAY: Now think about what that does to a robbery. In GTA 5, the robbery ends when you grab the money. In GTA 6, the robbery has a second half: getting home. Getting to a fence. Getting it into the bank. The money isn't yours until it's safe. So every robbery is really two missions. * B-roll: Extended Look getaway shots
BRIDGE: So how do you get money in the first place? Basically, you rob everything.
3. How you make it
SAY: Rob Nelson, who runs development at Rockstar North, said it in a sit-down interview with IGN: "You can rob pretty much anything." A headphone shop. A bank. A payday loan office. Even a police impound lot.
SAY: And there are choices. Say you find a safe. You can blow it open. That's fast, but you damage what's inside. Or you can find the code. Then you keep everything, but while you're looking, the cops have time to show up.
SAY: Fast and messy, or slow and clean. That's a real decision, every single time. And it's a money decision. Blowing the safe isn't free. You're paying for speed with whatever gets destroyed inside.
SAY: The story is built around this too. According to IGN, some story missions won't start until you've raised enough cash.
SAY: And the big jobs go through a character named Raul Bautista. Rockstar describes him as a seasoned bank robber who recruits for high-risk, high-reward jobs. So that's who you call when a gas station isn't enough. * B-roll: Raul's official character art, robbery shots
BRIDGE: And when you have the money, what can you spend it on? Less is known here than people think.
4. How you spend it
SAY: Here's the honest answer: Rockstar hasn't shown a single price. Not one car price. Not one robbery payout. Nothing.
SAY: What people saw at the preview: clothes, haircuts, guns, even a gym.
SAY: One previewer says you can't just buy a mansion like in GTA 5, because your safehouses come with the story. That's one person. Rockstar hasn't confirmed it. * B-roll: Extended Look customization and gym shots
BRIDGE: And while we're on things that aren't confirmed, there are two you're going to hear everywhere.
5. Myth check
SAY: One: "There's a $20,000 limit on how much cash you can carry." One creator said it like a fact. Rockstar never said that.
SAY: Two: "Jason and Lucia share one bank account." That comes from one person at the preview. Maybe true. Not confirmed.
SAY: If a video says either of those like it's official, it's guessing. * B-roll: two claims with "NOT CONFIRMED" stamps
BRIDGE: Okay. Now the fun part. Jason and Lucia live in Vice City, which is basically Miami. So let's say they had to pay for their life in real Miami. At real Florida minimum wage.
6. Real Miami, at minimum wage
SAY: Florida's minimum wage just went up to 15 dollars an hour, on September 30th. Full-time, that's about 2,080 hours a year. Let's see how long Jason has to work. * B-roll: calculator, "$15/hour" card
SAY: Let's start with the game itself. GTA 6 is $79.99. At 15 dollars an hour, that's 5 hours and 20 minutes of work. The Ultimate edition, $99.99, is almost 7 hours. So before Jason robs anything, the game costs you most of a work day.
SAY: Now, rent. A one-bedroom apartment in Miami is about $2,700 a month. At 15 dollars an hour, that's 180 hours of work. A full-time month is about 173 hours. So rent alone takes more than a whole month of work. Before food. Before anything. * B-roll: Miami apartment listing photo, "180 HOURS" card
SAY: Next, a Lamborghini. The Temerario, the one that replaced the Huracán, is about $380,000. That's 12 years of full-time work. Twelve years. For the "cheaper" Lamborghini.
SAY: The Revuelto, the big one, starts at over 600,000 dollars, depending on where you look. That's around 20 years. * B-roll: real Lamborghini photos with a years counter
SAY: A house. The median house in Miami-Dade sold for $692,000 in September. That's 22 years. Twenty-two years of working every weekday, spending nothing, for an average house.
SAY: A Cigarette speedboat, which is the most Vice City thing you can possibly own. A used 42-foot one is listed for up to about 890,000 dollars. That's over 28 years. * B-roll: speedboat listing photo
SAY: Now, GTA 5's heists. Even the very first one, the jewel store job, can pay Michael about 1.2 million dollars. At 15 dollars an hour, that's 80,000 hours. Thirty-eight years. For the warm-up heist.
SAY: And now, the Big Score. The last heist in GTA 5. About 41 million dollars per character. At 15 dollars an hour, that's about 2.8 million hours of work. Over 1,300 years of minimum wage. * B-roll: years counter rolling up past 1,300
SAY: If someone started a full-time minimum wage job around the year 700, they'd be finishing about now.
SAY: That's the whole fantasy of GTA in one number. In the game, one afternoon pays more than a thousand years of a real job.
SAY: And that's exactly why GTA 6 is making money harder to keep. If one heist is worth a thousand years, the only way to make it feel like anything is to make you work to hold on to it.
Ending
SAY: Rockstar hasn't told us what a heist pays in GTA 6 yet. So on November 19th, I'm finding out. And then I'm doing this math again, with GTA 6 money.
END: That's on this channel. Subscribe so you see it. * B-roll: launch trailer final shot (muted), subscribe card
Math (all at $15/h, 2,080 h per year)
Game $79.99 / 15 = 5.3 h (5 h 20 min); Ultimate $99.99 / 15 = 6.7 h · Rent $2,700 / 15 = 180 h (full-time month = 173 h) · Temerario $380,000 / 15 = 25,333 h = 12.2 yr · Revuelto $608,358 to $668,794 / 15 = 19.5 to 21.4 yr ("around 20") · house $692,000 / 15 = 46,133 h = 22.2 yr · 42' Cigarette $889,000 / 15 = 59,267 h = 28.5 yr · Jewel Store Job $1,200,000 / 15 = 80,000 h = 38.5 yr · Big Score $41,664,000 / 15 = 2,777,600 h = 1,335 yr (2026 - 1,335 = 691, "around the year 700").

Cold open
HOOK: People are saying GTA 6 is going to break the internet, make millions of people skip work, and turn Miami into Vice City. * B-roll: three headline cards slam in, one per claim
HOOK: One of those is already literally true. Right now, on the roof of the Miami Heat's arena, there's a giant sign that says "Welcome to Vice City." * B-roll: photo of the Kaseya Center sign
HOOK: So I took the six biggest claims about what GTA 6 does to the real world, and I checked every one. Some are true. One doesn't add up, even using its own numbers. And the last one is the big one: is this about to be the biggest launch in entertainment history? * B-roll: "6 CLAIMS" card, verdict stamps flash by
HOOK: Starting with your Wi-Fi. * B-roll: router with blinking lights
Claim 1: "GTA 6 will break the internet"
SAY: Claim one: GTA 6 is going to break the internet.
SAY: First problem: nobody knows how big the game is. Rockstar hasn't said. The guesses online go from 150 to 300 gigabytes. So let's take the middle. 200 gigabytes.
SAY: If your internet is 100 megabits, which is a pretty normal home connection, 200 gigabytes takes about four and a half hours. If it's 25 megabits, it's about 18 hours. That's not a download. That's a sleepover. * B-roll: download bar animation, math card: 200 GB x 8,000 / 100 Mbps = 16,000 s = 4.4 h
SAY: Will the whole internet break? Nobody can measure that before it happens, so I'm not going to pretend I know. But your internet might have a very bad night.
SAY: And that's per house. If three people in your home are downloading it the same night, good luck.
SAY: Which is exactly why preloading exists. Digital copies can start downloading on November 12th, a week early. So, verdict: the internet, unknown. Your internet, start the preload on the 12th.
BRIDGE: So you'll have the game. Claim two is that millions of people are going to skip work to play it.
Claim 2: "GTA 6 will cost the economy a billion dollars in sick days"
SAY: This one was actual news. A report that ran on Fox stations said about one and a half million Americans will skip work on November 19th, and it'll cost the economy a billion dollars. * B-roll: the headline as a card
SAY: So I did their math. With their numbers.
SAY: Their number for what one worker produces in a year: $70,000. A year has about 260 workdays. So one worker, one day, is about $270.
SAY: Multiply that by one and a half million people, and you get about 400 million dollars. Not a billion. * B-roll: calculator close-up, "$400,000,000" next to a crossed-out "$1,000,000,000"
SAY: So even with their own numbers, it doesn't add up to a billion. It's less than half.
SAY: But the effect is real. A company that tracks shift work found that when Overwatch 2 launched, absences nearly doubled that day. And Take-Two's own CEO, the guy whose company makes GTA 6, said, "a lot of people will be calling in sick on November 19."
SAY: Verdict: people skipping work, true. The billion dollars, their numbers don't get there.
BRIDGE: If regular people are scared of missing GTA 6, game companies are scared of something else: launching anywhere near it.
Claim 3: "Other games are running away from GTA 6"
SAY: Claim three: other games are running away from GTA 6.
SAY: Nobody's going to say that out loud. Imagine being the studio that admits your game is scared of another game.
SAY: But think about it from their side. You spent years on a game. Your launch week is the one week everyone is paying attention. And on November 19th, nobody is paying attention to anything except GTA 6.
SAY: But Fable, a huge Xbox game, moved to February 2027. And its director pretty much hinted that GTA 6 was the reason. Hinted. Not said. * B-roll: Fable key art, a calendar with Nov 19 circled and other dates sliding away
SAY: Verdict: probably true. But so far, that's one studio hinting, not a list of companies admitting it.
BRIDGE: Now the one that sounds made up. But isn't.
Claim 4: "Miami is turning into Vice City"
SAY: Claim four: Miami is turning into Vice City.
SAY: On September 22nd, a helicopter lifted a giant "Welcome to Vice City" sign onto the roof of the Kaseya Center. That's where the Miami Heat play. * B-roll: the sign going up
SAY: Rockstar is paying Miami-Dade County $975,000 for it. And here's my favorite detail: that's $25,000 under a million. Because at a million dollars, it would have needed a vote by the county commission. So instead, the mayor approved it herself.
SAY: And it's not a quick stunt. The deal reportedly keeps the sign up for at least a year.
SAY: And the deal reportedly says the sign can't say "Grand Theft Auto." Only "Vice City." So a real government signed a contract to put a fake city's name on a real building. As long as it doesn't mention the crime part.
SAY: And on November 18th, the night before launch, the Heat play the Milwaukee Bucks as "A Night in Vice City." Custom court. Custom uniforms. On ESPN. * B-roll: Heat announcement card
SAY: Verdict: true. Literally. A real city is wearing a video game's name.
BRIDGE: Miami's in. Claim five is about your living room.
Claim 5: "GTA 6 will sell consoles"
SAY: Claim five: GTA 6 is going to sell consoles.
SAY: GTA 6 isn't on PC. Only PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. So if you want it on day one and you don't have one of those, you're buying one.
SAY: Take-Two expects a bump in console sales. And one research firm, Ampere, estimated that just delaying GTA 6 cost about 700,000 console sales. * B-roll: PS5 and Xbox boxes, "700,000" card
SAY: Think about that. The game NOT coming out was enough to keep an estimated 700,000 people from buying a PlayStation or an Xbox.
SAY: Verdict: true, as far as anyone can measure before launch.
BRIDGE: And now, the big one.
Claim 6: "The biggest launch in entertainment history"
SAY: Claim six: GTA 6 will be the biggest launch in entertainment history. Movies, music, games, all of it.
SAY: Here's the bar. When GTA 5 came out in 2013, it made about 800 million dollars on its first day. And a billion dollars in three days. At the time, it was reported that The Avengers took 19 days to reach a billion.
SAY: Red Dead Redemption 2, also Rockstar, made 725 million in three days. And Avengers: Endgame, the biggest movie opening ever, made about 1.2 billion dollars worldwide on its opening weekend. * B-roll: bar chart building: The Avengers 19 days, GTA 5 3 days, RDR2, Endgame weekend
SAY: So that's the record to beat. About 1.2 billion dollars in a weekend.
SAY: Now GTA 6. An analytics company called Newzoo forecasts about 4.5 billion dollars in the first week. That's about 51 million copies. In one week. Their low guess is 3.3 billion, about 37 million copies. Even the low guess is almost three times Endgame's opening weekend.
SAY: To be fair, a week isn't a weekend. It's not a perfect comparison. But it isn't close, either.
SAY: Take-Two itself expects 8 to 8.2 billion dollars in bookings for the year GTA 6 launches. The year before, it was 6.7 billion. * B-roll: the GTA 6 forecast bar towering over the rest, labeled "forecast"
SAY: And then there's the hype. The first trailer got 90 million YouTube views in 24 hours, a world record for a game reveal. The second trailer, Rockstar says, got 475 million views across every platform in one day, more than the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer. And when Rockstar put out 27 minutes of gameplay on Netflix, it was the number one film on Netflix in 87 countries. A gameplay video. Number one film.

Spare (the "13 years" topic, on the bench): talking points only, about 4 minutes written out.
Why GTA 6 Took 13 YearsSpare: talking points, expand before filming
Why GTA 6 Took 13 Years
Title options: Why GTA 6 Took 13 Years / GTA 6 Took 13 Years. Here's Where the Time Went. / 13 Years and Over $1 Billion: Why GTA 6 Took So Long Thumbnail: your shocked face, a cracked calendar reading "2013 → 2026", Lucia and Jason key art behind you. Length: SPARE, talking-point version: about 500 words are written to say as-is (about 4 minutes); the rest are bullets to talk through. Expand before filming if you pick it. Structure: Escalation Ladder (five reasons, smallest to biggest), climax = the money machine. Release slot: spare (not in the four-video plan). Big ceiling for big channels, but small channels mostly flop on this topic (median under 2k views for channels under 50k subs since 2025). Today's GTA niche plan has a version as an optional launch-week essay. B-roll rules: official Rockstar trailers and screenshots only, trailer audio MUTED (licensed songs trigger Content ID), never leaked footage. Headlines, stock charts and quotes as on-screen cards.
Cold open (word for word, about 40 s)
HOOK: If you're 15 right now, you were 2 years old when GTA 5 came out. * B-roll: GTA 5 launch-day news clip, then a calendar flipping 2013 to 2026
HOOK: September 2013 to November 19, 2026. That's 13 years and 2 months. Rockstar sold the same game on three generations of consoles while we waited. * B-roll: GTA 5 box art for PS3, PS4, PS5 side by side
HOOK: I went through every statement, every delay and every number I could find, and the real answer isn't "they're lazy." It's five things, starting with the one everybody blames, and ending with the one that let them take as long as they wanted. * B-roll: quick flashes of the five segment cards
HOOK: Starting with the timeline, because most people don't realize how long Rockstar said nothing at all. * B-roll: hard cut to a black screen with "2013"
1. The 13 years in 60 seconds (~1:30)
SAY: For the first eight and a half years, Rockstar's official comment on GTA 6 was nothing. Not a logo. Not a hint. Nothing. - Sept 17, 2013: GTA 5 launches. - Feb 4, 2022: first official confirmation, one paragraph at the bottom of a GTA Online post on the Rockstar Newswire. "Active development... is well underway." - Sept 2022: about 90 early clips leak (own segment later). - Dec 2023: Trailer 1, posted early because it leaked. 90.4M YouTube views in 24 hours, a Guinness record for a game reveal. - May 2, 2025: delay 1, fall 2025 to May 26, 2026. Nov 6, 2025: delay 2, to Nov 19, 2026. - Aug 27, 2026: the Extended Look, about 27 minutes of real gameplay captured on PS5. Oct 15, 2026: the launch trailer. * B-roll: animated timeline bar filling left to right, each event pops a headline card
BRIDGE: So that's what happened. Here's why, starting with the smallest reason, the one everybody gets wrong.
2. Reason 5: the leak (the one everybody blames, and it barely mattered) (~1:30)
SAY: Everyone blames the hacker. In 2022 a teenager leaked about 90 clips of the game. Rockstar said it would have no long-term effect on development, and there's no proof it delayed anything. - Rockstar's Sept 2022 statement: "extremely disappointed", no long-term effect expected. - Rockstar told a UK court the hack cost about $5 million plus thousands of staff hours. Real damage, but not years. - He did it from a hotel room, with a hotel TV, a phone and an Amazon Fire Stick. (One line only, full story is its own video.) * B-roll: news headlines from Sept 2022, courtroom exterior photo (public), NO leaked footage
BRIDGE: If it wasn't the hacker, the next reason is about how Rockstar works, and it changed after 2018.
3. Reason 4: they stopped making people work 100-hour weeks (~1:45)
SAY: In 2018, reporting on Red Dead Redemption 2 described brutal overtime at Rockstar. After that, Rockstar reportedly changed how it schedules work: comp time, more producers, contractors made full-time, and no forced overtime on GTA 6. - Source: reporting after Jason Schreier's 2018 Kotaku story. Say "reportedly", this is reported, not a Rockstar announcement. - Your take (keep it short and fair): a saner studio is a slower studio. If you want a game this big without breaking the people making it, it takes longer. * B-roll: RDR2 footage, headline cards of the 2018 reporting
BRIDGE: Slower schedule, fine. But they also did the opposite of slowing down: they doubled the team.
4. Reason 3: the team got huge (~1:45)
SAY: Rockstar had about 2,400 people in 2018. By 2026, Bloomberg counted about 4,700. And the art production team, the people whose whole job is coordinating the artists, went from 5 or 6 people on GTA 5 to 65 on GTA 6. - Headcount ~2,400 (2018) to ~4,700 (2026), across 12 offices. Art PRODUCTION team (coordinators, not artists) 5-6 to 65, per Aaron Garbut via Bloomberg. - Say the invisible: more people doesn't mean faster. Every new person is more meetings, more detail to check, and a bigger world to keep consistent. - Say the invisible: if it takes 65 people just to coordinate the art, imagine how many people are making it. * B-roll: Extended Look city shots, a "5 → 65" number card
BRIDGE: Then there are the delays, and the boss of the company that owns Rockstar said something about them most people missed.
5. Reason 2: the delays, in the boss's own words (~2:00)
SAY: Rockstar delayed GTA 6 twice. The first time they wrote, "We are very sorry that this is later than you expected." The second time, the stock dropped 8% the next day. - Delay 1 (May 2, 2025): "to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve." - Delay 2 (announced after the close on Nov 6, 2025): Take-Two stock closed down 8.1% the next trading day, Nov 7. - Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two CEO, May 2026: "I think we're about 18 months behind the original date. Not much more than that." - The math most people miss: the two public delays only add up to about 12 to 14 months. He said 18. So there was slip before anyone told us. (Say this as your read of his quote.) * B-roll: Take-Two stock chart card for Nov 6-7, 2025, quote cards
BRIDGE: Which brings us to the biggest reason, and the reason none of this scared them.
6. Reason 1: GTA 5 never stopped making money (climax, ~2:30)
SAY: GTA 5 has sold over 230 million copies. It's still selling about 5 million copies every three months. When your 13-year-old game is still one of the best-selling things on the shelf, nobody is forcing you to hurry. - GTA 5: $1 billion in 3 days at launch (Guinness: fastest entertainment property to $1B). - 230M+ units as of Take-Two's Aug 2026 report; franchise near 475M. ~5M per quarter is reported. - This is your read, say it as a read: Rockstar never NEEDED to ship. That's the freedom that bought 13 years. - The cost of that freedom: there's no official budget. Analysts estimate $1 to 1.5 billion so far; some guesses go up to $3 billion. GTA 5 was estimated at $200 to 250 million. * B-roll: sales number cards, GTA 5 across PS3/PS4/PS5, a "$200M → $1B+" bar chart labeled "estimates"
SAY: And the price for us: $79.99. Spread over 13 years of waiting, that's about 50 cents for every month. (158 months, $79.99 / 158 = $0.51)
7. Was it worth it? (~1:00)
SAY: When Rockstar finally showed 27 minutes of gameplay, it went out on Netflix first, and it was the number one film on Netflix in 87 countries. The launch trailer did 65 million views in 10 days. People didn't get tired of waiting. They got more interested. - Netflix: 31.1M views in its first 4 days, #1 English-language film in 87 of 93 countries. Rockstar's YouTube upload: 32M (checked Oct 25). Launch trailer: 65.8M (checked Oct 25). - And the good news for next time: Rockstar's development heads reportedly told Bloomberg this month that GTA 6's tools and teams should let them make the next big game faster. Say "reportedly". - Your honest take in one or two lines. Then stop.

Rules for all four
- B-roll from Rockstar's official trailers, screenshots and the Extended Look only. Mute trailer audio: the songs are licensed and trigger Content ID claims.
- Never show leaked footage, and nothing from early or preloaded copies before Nov 19. Rockstar takes those down.
- No sponsor segment over GTA footage (Rockstar's footage policy covers non-commercial use).
- When a line says "reportedly" or "from the preview", keep that word in. Rockstar's summer preview was hands-off: say "people Rockstar showed it to", never "people who played it".
- The GTA 5 list (shoot 2) needs your own GTA 5 clips: weapon wheel, lock-on, the character switch wheel and the radar aren't in Rockstar's official GTA 5 trailers.
How this was made
- Started from the 3,386 GTA videos harvested Oct 12, then searched YouTube again today for 45 GTA 6 talking-head topics (43 came back): 1,135 long-form videos with channel sizes.
- Cross-checked against today's GTA niche dataset (27,335 videos, including whole channel upload lists, so flops show up too). The small-channel numbers on each topic come from that set.
- Read the transcripts of the top comparison videos to see what they do and what they miss.
- Every fact in the scripts was looked up and linked (sources under each script). Rumors are labeled. Two adversarial checks found 9 must-fix problems in the first draft and 6 in the second (wrong details, overstated claims, a ranking that broke its own rule); all are fixed. Numbers are as of Oct 25.
- Limits: view-sorted search only shows winners, which is why the second dataset matters. Topic sorting is by title words, so a few videos sit in the wrong bucket. View counts move daily.
